On September 25, HT. Thach Oai – Standing Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Women’s Birth Control Association, the chief monk of KomPong pagoda (ward 1, Tra Vinh city, Tra Vinh province) cooperated with local authorities in ward 1 and Long Duc commune to present 200 gifts to poor households. , households with difficult circumstances Khmer ethnic people in the area.
These gifts are sent on the occasion of Sene Dolta festival of Khmer ethnic people in 2021, contributing to partly sharing the difficult life for poor households and disadvantaged households of Khmer ethnic people in Ward 1. and Long Duc commune.
Each gift includes: rice, box of instant noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, sugar, MSG. The total cost of 60 million dong was donated by Most Venerable Thach Oai and the Kompong Temple Board of Directors to mobilize benefactors and Buddhist relatives.
