The visit of the Delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province took place on the afternoon of October 12, 2021 (October 7 Tan Suu) at Thuong Chieu Zen Monastery, Phuoc Thai commune, Long Thanh district, Dong province. Nai is led by Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh – UV of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee.
Welcoming and working with the Delegation of Dong Nai Provincial Government with HT. Thich Nhat Quang- UV Center of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha – Head of the provincial Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha, TT. Thich Hue Khai – UBCV of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha – Standing Deputy of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha BTS, HT. Thich Phuoc Tu – Deputy Head of the Department of Buddhist Ceremonies of the province; HT. Thich Minh Ngan – Deputy BTS- Head of the Provincial Buddhist Control Board, TT. Thich Hue Sanh – Deputy Head of the Department of International Buddhist Studies in the province; TT. Thich Thong Hanh – Head of the Provincial Buddhist Culture Department – Head of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha BTS in Long Thanh district and the standing monks of the provincial Buddhist Sangha attended.
Representatives of the Provincial Nun Sub-Committee also attended by NT. Thich Nu Hue Huong- UV Councilor- Deputy Head of BTS- Head of the Nun Sub-Committee of Dong Nai Province.
On the side of the Government, there were Mr. Cao Van Quang – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee – Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province; Mr. Dao Van Phuoc – UV Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Department of Mass Mobilization of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Vu Hong Van, UV Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu – Head of the Religious Affairs Committee, Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province and representatives of the People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Thanh district attended.
Representative of the Delegation of the Government of Dong Nai province, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh – UV of the Party Central Committee, the new Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the solidarity of Buddhism in the province and actively participated in it. patriotic activities, and make important contributions to the Party, government and people of the province in the cause of economic development and social security. In particular, he was pleased to praise the fearless compassion of nearly 200 Buddhist volunteers, including both monks and lay Buddhists who actively participated in the fight against the epidemic. It is an act, a very noble gesture that not everyone can do. He also said that in the coming time, Dong Nai province will deploy COVID-19 vaccination for 100% of people across the province.
In response to the sincere and deep concern from the Delegation of the Government of Dong Nai province, the Most Venerable Master of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam sent his thanks and wishes for health to the members of the Delegation. Here, HT also presented an overview of Buddhist activities in recent years. Although the COVID-19 pandemic is still developing very complicatedly, with the dedicated and profound direction from leaders at all levels, the province has partly overcome the immediate difficulties, creating favorable conditions for Ms. People’s children resume their normal activities. In the context of the epidemic, Buddhism in the province has also been continuing to contribute a part of its efforts to support people in difficulty during the epidemic.
At the end of the visit and working session, representatives of the provincial leaders and the monks in the province’s Buddhist BTS visited the health and encouraged the doctors, monks and nuns at the vaccination site. COVID-19 of Long Thanh district is located at Thuong Chieu Zen Monastery.
