On the afternoon of October 25, at Vien Minh Pagoda – Office of the Buddhist Executive Board of Ben Tre Province, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Police, the Provincial Religious Affairs Committee visited the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha in Ben Tre province.

The delegation was led by Mr. Le Duc Tho, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee; Receiving the delegation were the Most Venerable Thich Nhut Tan, Standing Member of the Executive Council, Head of the Provincial Buddhist Administration Committee and the venerable monks of the Provincial Standing Committee of Buddhism.

Mr. Le Duc Tho shared the joy of coming to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the province’s Buddhism on the occasion of the upcoming 40th Anniversary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. According to him, the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha has always strived to be associated with the Vietnamese people throughout its history. Since the establishment of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha until now, the role of the Church in the construction and renewal of the country has been shown more clearly, and the achievements brought to the country are always appreciated.

On behalf of the Executive Board, Most Venerable Thich Nhut Tan informed about Buddhist affairs in the province thanks to the attention and support of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the departments of Ben Tre province.
