On the morning of October 31, as Head of the Buddhist Volunteer Coordinating Committee for more than 3 months, TT. Thich Nhat Tu – Member of the TSSC, came to pick up volunteers who had successfully completed their tasks at the No. 12 Field Hospital for Covid-19 treatment and treatment (apartment block R5, An Khanh ward, Thu Duc city).

Buddhist volunteers have been supporting here for about 3 months, since the days when the field hospital was newly established.

The field hospital for the collection and treatment of Covid-19 No. 12 is in charge of the Dermatology Hospital. The hospital structure is divided into two areas: ABC area with 1,500 beds and DEF area with 2,000 beds. In which, ABC area officially received the first patient since August 10.

Here, Mr. Pham Dang Trong Tuong shared with TT. Nhat Tu about the hospital’s results during the Covid-19 pandemic. In particular, the Hospital’s Director highly appreciated the help of Buddhist volunteers in connecting patients and doctors as well as in caring for F0s. In addition, he also said that so far, the hospital has not accepted Covid-19 patients, but has a plan for the worst-case scenario.

On this occasion, TT. Nhat Tu also sent greetings and best wishes to the leadership of the 12 Field Hospital and the volunteers who successfully completed their tasks.

In recognition of the contributions of the Buddhist volunteers, the hospital sent a letter of thanks to each volunteer.
