In two days, 8 and 9/9/2021, at Vien Ngo pagoda (Ninh An commune, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province) the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha BTS in the province, the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha in town and the Dharma followers of Vien Ngo’s family ancestral house solemnly celebrated. The ceremony to commemorate the centenary of the week and enter the stupa of the late Venerable Thich Ngo Tinh.

The ceremony was attended by the Venerable Most Venerable Thich Quang Thien, member of the CMSC, proving the provincial Buddhist Sangha BTS; Most Venerable Thich Minh Thong, Member of the Buddhist Council, Acting Head of the provincial Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha; Most Venerable Thich Nguyen Quang, Member of the Buddhist Council, Deputy Head of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam; Most Venerable Thich Trung Giac, abbot of Linh Phong Pagoda; Most Venerable Thich Chuc Long, Senior Member of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha; Most Venerable Thich Thien Phuoc, Member of the Council of Scholars, Chief Secretary of the provincial BTS; together with the venerable monks and nuns, the disciples of the Dharma family and dear Buddhists.

At the ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Minh Thong, Acting Head of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha BTS, announced the biography of Most Venerable Thich Ngo Tinh.

The late Venerable Thich Ngo Tinh, 45th Lam Te lineage, former member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, former head of the Cultural Affairs Committee of the Khanh Hoa Buddhist Sangha, Deputy Head of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Khanh Hoa Province, the head of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha. Ninh Hoa commune, abbot of Vien Ngo pagoda.

The Venerable Master Le Thau, born in 1946, is from Tra Tri village, Hai Xuan commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri. His father is Mr. Le Duc Su and his mother is Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh.

The monk ordained in 1957 at Phuoc Hue Pagoda (Lam Dong) with the late Venerable Thich Vien Nhon, abbot of Bao An Pagoda (An Cuu, Hue). He was given the Dharma name of Quang Chon by the Most Venerable Master, himself Ngo Tinh, and named Minh Hanh.

In 1973, the Venerable Master was fully ordained by his Master at the Phuoc Hue Grand Ordination (Buddhist Institute of Hai Duc Nha Trang) led by the Most Venerable Thich Phuc Ho as the First Path of ordination.

Due to illness, the Venerable Master passed away at 2:45 am on August 2, 2021 (June 24, Tan Ox). Remaining 71 years, 48 ​​lower laps.

In front of the dignified shrine, Venerable Thich Nhuan Thong, on behalf of his disciples, expressed gratitude for the Venerable’s merits for the four groups of monks and prayed for enlightenment in the Buddha Kingdom.

It is known that on November 8, 2021, Venerable Samaritan Thich Trung Giac and other Venerable Monks and Sutras organized a ceremony to invite the Venerable’s Spirit Bones to enter the stupa into the stupa.
