Continuing the loving trips, the journey of bringing thousands of tons of agricultural products and thousands of gifts to the disadvantaged people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the outbreak in Da Lat City, Buddhism in Da Lat City gave more than 1000 gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the area.
From October 23 to November 6, 2021, the Executive Board – Charity Board of the Buddhist Church of Ho Chi Minh City. Da Lat has donated more than 29 tons of vegetables and necessities to support poor people in quarantined areas, in villages in epidemic-hit areas in provinces and cities across the country. Support sessions are as follows:
October 23: BTS – Da Lat Buddhist charity team coordinated with Lam Dong Provincial Police to transfer 6 tons to Ho Chi Minh City Hospitals and 1 ton to Tanh Hau garage to move to La Pagoda.
October 31: Support 3.5 tons of fruits and vegetables and food to Tan Dinh Psychiatric Center, Binh Duong province.
November 03: Support 3 tons of vegetables and fruits and necessities to the Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thai commune, Ninh Thuan to distribute to poor people in the isolation area and 3 tons of vegetables and fruits to support Binh Dan hospital, Postal Hospital and Charity Kitchen.
November 6: Support 6 tons of vegetables and fruits to Huong Nghiem Pagoda (Ben Cat – Binh Duong) to distribute to isolation areas and motels in the area. Previously, Ban also supported this place with 5 tons of agricultural products on November 2.

On the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (November 7, 1981 – November 7, 2021), the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha awarded nearly 900 gifts to people with disabilities, Ms. disadvantaged children in 12 wards and 4 communes, isolation and blockade areas and poor students staying in the city.
