On November 20, 2021, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Chau Thanh district presented 1,200 gifts to disadvantaged households affected by the COVID-19 epidemic in Cai Tau Ha town, Chau Thanh district, Dong Thap province.

Facing the still complicated situation of the Covid -19 epidemic, the number of F0 infections in the community increased, some communes and towns were at high risk, level 4 red zones. With the spirit of mutual affection, support people together to prevent epidemics, share difficulties with people in the blockade and isolation areas.

Accordingly, Venerable Thich Tinh Triet – Standing Deputy of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dong Thap province, Head of the Buddhist Administration of Chau Thanh district, and monks and nuns in the district visited and shared their difficulties.

Welcoming the delegation at the People’s Committee of Cai Tau Ha town were: Mr. Nguyen Tan Luc – Provincial Party member, Secretary of Chau Thanh District Party Committee; Mr. Do Nhat Dinh – Vice Chairman of Chau Thanh District People’s Committee; Ms. Le My Dung – Vice Chairman of the district Fatherland Front Committee, and Cai Tau Ha town government leaders received and presented gifts to the functional forces to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, as well as the people here.
