The reason why people lack focus, do not have a deep sense of action is due to the habit of extroversion, paying more attention to the outside than paying attention to themselves.
Once the Blessed One was living among the Sumbha people in the town of Sedaka. There, the Blessed One taught the monks:
“Bhikkhus, if a large number of people gathered to see a beauty queen dancing and singing with all her charm. Then a man came, wanting to live, not wanting to die, and they said to him: “Look, man. This is a bowl filled with oil. Take that bowl of oil and go around the great crowd and the beauty queen. A man with a sword held high would follow behind him. Wherever you spill some oil, that’s where your head will fall.”
– What do you think, bhikkhus, can that person not pay attention to the bowl of oil and turn his mind outward?
– No, venerable sir.
– This example, bhikkhus, I say it to clarify the meaning of mindfulness of the body. Therefore, you need to learn as follows: “We will practice mindfulness of the body, make it perfect, make it continue to stay…”.

The Buddha’s teachings for a peaceful life?
In life, there are many actions that are executed without any control. The body is one way and the mind is another is an inherent habit of human beings. Most people tend to turn their mind outwards, and few pay attention to the actions of the body in the present. Therefore, except for a few jobs that need high concentration and may be dangerous, they really pay attention, the rest are almost forgotten, especially daily tasks. Few people are aware of the causes of most accidents and misfortunes that befall people’s lives stemming from these negligence.
Mindfulness of body movements is an important practice to control all body movements, maintain mindfulness while working, walking and living. Thanks to a profound awareness of the workings of the body, man can control himself. The negative karma of the body, thanks to the illumination of consciousness, is gradually eliminated. On the other hand, mindfulness of body actions will help the mind stay calm, not distracted, because the mind is always present in the activities of the body. Mindfulness of bodily formations will bring the body and mind back to dwell in every moment of the present moment. This is the wisdom in life.
The reason why people lack focus, do not have a deep sense of action is due to the habit of extroversion, paying more attention to the outside than paying attention to themselves. That oblivion will make the mind wander aimlessly leading to loss of mindfulness. Overcome that state of mindfulness by mindfulness of the body; always awake, lucid and self-controlled in every gesture and action. The image depicts a man who will become a death penalty if he drops just a drop of oil while carrying a bowl full of oil, walking around the crowd cheering in front of a specific and vivid singing and dancing beauty.
Conscious of impermanence, human life in the breath, the practitioner meditates on bodily actions to live fully and fully awake. Therefore, mindfulness of body and actions to master mind and body is the life motto of every Buddhist child.
