The province has a total of 791 monasteries, with 814 monks and nuns residing and studying. Regarding professional work, the Board of Directors focuses on educating and training young monks and nuns with qualifications in Buddhist studies and world studies, reflected in their close attention to the Nam Dinh Provincial Buddhist Intermediate School, where there are 110 Buddhist monks and nuns.
