The Venerable Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dam entered the stupa.
Present to attend the memorial ceremony of the Church at Hoa Lac pagoda (Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province) were the Most Venerable Thich Thien Nhon, Chairman of the Executive Council, Head of the Funeral Organizing Committee; Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu, Standing Vice Chairman of the Executive Council, Standing Deputy Head of the Funeral Organizing Committee; together with the clergy Vice President, members of the Funeral Committee: Most Venerable Thich Gia Quang, Most Venerable Thich Bao Nghiem, Most Venerable Thich Quang Ha, Venerable Thich Duc Thien (cum-Secretary of the Executive Council), Honoring the Standing Committee of the Executive Council, the Central Office, the Central Committees and Institutes, leaders of the Executive Boards of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of provinces and cities, and a large number of monks and nuns attended.
Attending also were representatives of leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, central agencies, Ninh Binh province and other provinces and a large number of Buddhists.
In front of the Giac Linh Dai at the altar where the precious metal coffin is enshrined, Venerable Venerable Deputy Dharma Master, Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu announced the biography and reviewed the behavior of the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, a monk with 98 years of existence. Accordingly, the Venerable Chairman of the Executive Council recalled the outstanding features of the work of the Venerable Venerable Deputy Dharma Master of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha: “Nearly a hundred years of exploiting the crown jewels, he has lit up the hearts of many generations. From the time he entered the Way with his feet, he practiced diligently, and the lamp of wisdom became brighter day by day.
He quietly built the old-lam place, kept the wisdom lamp of the Tathagata passed down from Han Van to Lai Thanh by the Patriarch, and the shining meditation lamp in Yen Binh. His whole life lived to the fullest, popularly, simply, diligently, industriously, gently, patiently despite the twists and turns, no matter what position he was in, he remained dignified in a way out of the world: praying the rosary in his hands. , mouth reciting Nam-mo. Although he is very strict with himself, he is humble and gentle towards the four groups, with compassion, humility, respect, sincere speech, so when he interacts with people, all classes of believers. Buddhists, his teachings are like a gentle and cool stream that makes everyone admire and respect him. In the midst of the historical Kim Son land, he is a typical example of the tradition of solidarity between the Luong and the Churches joining hands to build the homeland, the Most Venerable Chairman of the Executive Council of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha.
The memorial of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha also recalls the compassion of the Venerable Venerable Deputy Dharma Master, who, in his old age, never hesitated to walk around bringing his body and word of mouth to light up his faith in the Dharma. for many children of Buddha. “He served the Buddhadharma until the very last moment before he peacefully passed away, as simple as his nearly one hundred years of existence in this world.”

The whole assembly chanted the Law Turning Sutra together, then chanted the Buddha’s name in unison, and said goodbye to the Golden Gate. The Venerable Master left the hall, entered the stupa in the campus of Hoa Lac pagoda (Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province), took up residence.
