On the morning of January 22, 2022, Venerable Thich Hue Phuong – Abbot of Khanh Long Pagoda together with local authorities and sponsors organized the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate Khanh Long Pagoda bridge, completed the road to the pagoda and handed over 300 parts. Tet gifts to local disadvantaged people to celebrate the New Year together.


Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Het – Vice Chairman of My Phuoc Tay Commune People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Anh – Chairman of the Commune Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of sponsors, Buddhist monasteries and relatives around the area.


Khanh Long Chua Bridge has a width of 4m, a length of 33m, and a load of 7 tons. The bridge was started construction on April 25, 2021, completed on July 30, 2021, with a cost of 700 million VND, by Buddhist group Khanh Long Pagoda, Dong Tam Charity group (Ho Chi Minh City). ) and Cement Company FICO-YTL co-sponsor.


Also on this occasion, Venerable Thich Hue Phuong completed the completion ceremony of the road to the temple with a length of 200m, a width of 6m, with a budget of 300 million VND, co-sponsored by Buddhists of Khanh Long pagoda at home and abroad.
