At Thien Hoa Precepts, good men and women from all over the world gather to seek refuge in the Three Jewels, receive the five precepts, and take the Ten Goods. At the school of Thuong Chieu Zen Monastery, the venerable masters have imparted the Three Refuges to the Five Precepts and the Ten Thien to the Buddhists and the Bodhisattva Precepts to more than 3,000 people.
The Five Precepts and the Ten Virtuous Precepts are the basic precepts in Buddhism, the first step to form the lifestyle of a Buddhist disciple, from which to enter the house of Buddhism. Those who want to achieve unsurpassed Bodhi, must initially uphold the Five Precepts and the Ten Virtues.
The Bodhisattva precept is a precept for both monastic and lay disciples of the Buddha. The bodhisattva precepts are the precepts of bodhisattvas who vow to practice endlessly the vow to save birth, based on the foundation of wisdom and boundless compassion. Bodhisattvas always forget themselves for others, suffer on behalf of others, and rejoice in the good conduct of all sentient beings. The human being is so noble and vast, so the result will be extremely good.
The bodhisattva precepts are also called the boundless precepts, which means that the precepts contain great merits that are endless and cannot be matched by other precepts. The bodhisattva precepts help people to overcome delusion and escape birth and death. From life to life, the Bodhisattva precepts always support practitioners until the day they become Buddhas.
The bodhisattva precepts that want to be upheld and maintained must first generate bodhicitta, because this is the precept that the Buddha formulated based on the grounded mind. Bodhi mind is the basis of all good deeds, the right person to become a Buddha. If you forget the Bodhi mind, you cannot cultivate ten thousand virtues. Only by generating bodhichitta can one turn the wheel of the Dharma of the Tathagata, fulfill the aspiration to seek the Buddha Way, and bring down sentient beings to perfection. Therefore, those who receive this dharma precept, in addition to generating the Bodhi mind, must strive to practice by themselves, and must also cultivate great compassion. suffering, to propagate the Dharma, to bring happiness and benefit to all people.
After the ceremony of consecrating the bodhisattva precepts, the bhikkhus and bhikkhunis took the vows of ordination, in the sound of reciting the Buddha’s name and the sound of the bells and drums of Prajna. Tan incense is a ritual expressing the will to study the bodhisattva’s conduct, sacrifice himself to seek the path, and dedicate his whole life to the Dharma and human life. The disciples who have generated the Bodhi mind, received the Bodhisattva precepts, vowed to practice the Bodhisattva path, now, in front of the Three Jewels, vow to burn a small part of their body to make offerings to the Buddhas. If it weren’t for the bodhisattva’s mind, it would not have been possible to do that fearless vow.
The realm of U Minh is the place where the spirits drift because of endless practice, immersed in the cycle of suffering, with no way out. Theory of U Minh World is a typical ritual in Northern Buddhism, with the meaning of generously extending sentient beings so that those who are lost can benefit. This ritual shows the highest compassion and equality of Buddhism, bringing the Dharma to the widest, without omitting a single sentient being.
Most Venerable Thich Le Trang, as a tutor, together with the venerable monks of the Buddhist Sangha Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, sequentially performed Buddhist rituals, praised the Three Jewels, taught incense, and taught the U Minh theory. gender.
The Venerable Master instructed the incense spirits to repent of the three karmas, transmit the three gatherings of pure precepts so that the incense spirits could generate good hearts and return to take refuge in the true teachings of the Buddhas. After the lecture on U Minh Gioi, the Most Venerable Blessing with the Venerable Ban Sutras, performed the ritual of giving food to the spirits and the twelve types of ghosts.
The worldly disciples, the great Buddhists, the spirits who are their relatives and enemies, sincerely visualize, send out penitence, dedicate to the incenses floating in the U Minh Realm, so that the spirits can awaken, know how to repent of the evil deeds created while still alive, and at the same time, relying on the Buddha’s power to be born on a good path, enjoy peace and liberation.
