On the morning of April 16, 2022, the Dharma followers of Phuoc Thanh and Phuoc Lam pagodas, the venerable monks of the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha in Dong Thap province respectfully and solemnly held a memorial ceremony to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the death of the head of the Buddhist Sangha. With merit for the cause of Dharma – Nation and contribution to the development of Dong Thap Buddhism, Buddhist activities at Phuoc Thanh Pagoda (Sa Dec City). Most Venerable Thich Chon Minh – Member of the Buddhist Council, Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha in Dong Thap province, who is also a dharma priest, and his followers, solemnly offered incense in memory of the late Giac Linh, Elder Most Venerable Thich Tu Nhon – Member of the Buddhist Council. Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha.
At the ceremony, the venerable monks shared incense and prayed to Giac Linh, the late Elder, to be promoted to the highest rank, and to prove no birth.
After the ceremony, the participating Venerables had an intimate meal with the sacred name Phuoc Thanh, where traces of the Buddhist activities of the late Venerable Thich Tu Nhon are kept.
On the same day, in Vietnam Quoc Tu (Ho Chi Minh City) also held a ceremony to commemorate the late Venerable Thich Tu Nhon in solemn and respectful manner.
