The head nun was named Huynh Thi Phi Phuong, her French name was Chon Phuong, her name was Tam Phuong, her name was Nguyen Tinh, and her self-titled My Dung. Born in the year of the Rabbit (1939) in Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen in an honest middle-class family, respecting the Tam Bao, cultivating blessed fields. At the age of 15, she left home to study religion with the late Nun Thich Thich Nu Dam Tue at Dieu Nghiem Pagoda and studied Foreign Canon at Bo De School – Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan. , diligent on the path to study, so when the water falls, the rapids, the nuns all overcame them. In 1958, Nun Truong took up the Sa Di Ni precept at Dieu An Pagoda – Phan Rang. In 1961, he received a massage of the mana world at Dieu An Pagoda – Phan Rang. In 1964, he was ordained as a monk at Tu Nghiem – Saigon, led by Nun Truong Thuong Dam Ha Huong as the leading monk. Before 1975, having a love for children as well as taking care of the inside and outside, Nun Truong was in charge of the principal of Dieu Nghiem Kindergarten – Phan Rang and Linh Giac Kindergarten – Da Lat in order to create favorable conditions for her children. Buddhists have access to Buddhism from an early age, frequenting temples to cultivate loving-kindness and learning the teachings. After the reunification of the country, the nun retired to devote herself to spiritual practice and together with the nun nun My Duc in taking care of raising them, cultivating, and self-sufficient. Nun Truong is the Vice President of Dieu Nghiem Pagoda, Dao Long Pagoda, and Long Cat Pagoda. Through the great ordination, Nun Truong was invited to become a religious witness, the one who urged the children to be assured of receiving the square and round dharma precepts. In the last days of her life, when the nun had passed the age of eight weeks, her success was not predictable. Recently, when she was old, her health was weak, so she was often affected by illness, her body was worn out, but her mind was always clear, she was still patient to go all the way to serve the Dharma.
DD. Thich Dong Niem, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, praised the merits of the late Nun Truong My Dung, who devoted her life to thrift and blessed life for the religion, now that her charm is over, she has returned to the West to spend her life. ecstasy domain.
Nun Truong left the world. The Sangha has lost an active and dedicated member, our post-school group has lost a beloved teacher, and the Buddhists have lost a close, lovely, and dear Master. The shadow of the long-standing roots has disappeared from the mountain, and then here comes the stormy and stormy times, and who advises and reminds when the younger generation of nuns is not confident enough, the smell of life still surrounds.
Next, NT. TN My Thuan, representing 7 brothers, had a couple of lines to confide in before seeing him off to his motherland. The nun recalled the most beautiful time, the happy and sad moments that the brothers had passed hand in hand for decades, and studied together with the Master. Five months have passed, each person has gone to practice in a different direction, but the love of sisters has been for a lifetime.
The nun reminisced about the days when she was a nun led by a nun. After the events of the changing times, cultivators are rare, life is difficult and hard. However, the situation did not discourage him. Five months in Dieu Nghiem, brothers, teachers and students work together without a moment’s rest, from incense sticks to the tru house, then go to the garden to fertilize each vine, plant each sugarcane, take care of each mango tree, and make each pot of chao. . Then, together with Thay, we cycled all the way to Phan Rang when it was raining and windy, in the middle of the night the rooster crowed, selling food to earn more money to feed them, and building the Three Jewels. After the strict teaching, the gentle and kind smile of the Master warms my heart when I am weak.
A Master’s Life:
The Dharma is propagated
Continue to increase them
Difficulties I do not shy away
Obstacles I don’t care
Perfume and virtues to be preserved for a lifetime
Hanh cum bow does not dare to be proud
Nearly seventy years of diligent practice
Not a minute let go of fear
The teacher’s brotherhood is attached to the color
Rarely is there any exchange of words
There are times when the teacher is strict in teaching
Hope we all study to be square and round
As time goes by, I also get weaker
Then the times of birth and death keep calling
Even though my body is in pain, I am still at peace,
Always tell us not to worry
Ninh Thuan land is full of wind and sun
Why is Phan Rang so sad?
Like sending Master off to the motherland
Even though I know that life is very short
But Master, how can I stop it?
When impermanence has come to Dieu Nghiem
Here is the incense stick in my heart
Teacher and student love is deeper than the sea
An Venerable Master is so high in the sky
You are the source of Dharma milk to raise children
No matter where I go
How to find a noble teacher.
Threshold of Bach Giac Linh Master! Now
The door to the world is closed
The holy scene has just opened
Nirvana, self-permanent long-term
Eternal life and death!
Where the supreme lotus,
Blessing has been completed
Relaxing the unborn domain
Peacefully walk in the west
Pure land blooms pink lotus.
After the memorial ceremony, the venerable monks offered incense to pray and the Venerable Master demonstrated the ceremony of declaring the Dharma language and waving the ceiling. Then, the Ritual Board instructed the Dharma disciples to offer incense, worship, robes, relics and precious metals to leave the Giac Linh hall of Dieu Nghiem pagoda in the reception of the Buddha’s recitation and the mighty sound of the drum bell. Praise farewell. The Kim Guan nun has left the temple for more than 60 years, practicing the religion and raising the nuns.
It is known that during the past 3 days, many delegations from all over the country have come to offer incense, pay tribute, send condolences, and send flowers to pay homage when they heard that the head nun, deputy head of Dieu Nghiem Pagoda, had passed away.
On this occasion, the Funeral Organizing Committee would like to express their deep gratitude to all the Honorable Monks of the Provincial Executive Committee, the Vinh Nghiem sect, monks and nuns, and Buddhists inside and outside the province for their precious time. bid farewell to the Nun. Even though I tried my best, many things could not be avoided, so I ask the teacher to let the Dharma family and the world bow their heads to ask for forgiveness.
