Beings are covered by the veil of ignorance, so they have ears like deaf, and eyes like blind. Ears can hear sounds, eyes can see forms, but ears can’t hear, eyes see but don’t reveal, don’t recognize bare sounds and colors are just appearances, the manifestation is only temporary.

My heart is like a clear sky

Love life is like a light pink cloud.

Ask the clouds to change colors

Why do you melt, thin, thick, fade?

Floating clouds keep drifting,

Silence is the answer who waits!

Space is nothingness,

Time weaves the Dream of life!

Who wants to wake up?

Will you wake up early lest the market will be noon!

Obsessed with sellers and buyers

Calculating profit and loss is better than noisy loss!

The world has many ways in and out

The mind is not attached to any way is happy!

Explain:

The poem consists of two passages composed at two times nearly sixty years apart, a period that occupies almost the entire life of a person living in the world. The two stanzas of the poem connect each other to mark the mind transformation by the author, from the mind in his twenties to the mind of an old man reflecting on himself. Both consciousnesses have the joy of being in the world.

The first paragraph describes the inspiration of a young man whose pure soul is sensitive to the impermanent changes of the clouds in the late afternoon. This is a real scene in nature: The author walks in the middle of a young seedling field in a light windy afternoon. The sunlight gradually tilted as the sunset changed, changing the color of the clouds gently flying in the vast space, from pale white to blushing and then briefly becoming red at the end of the horizon. Touching the scene of love, doubts arise in the honest mind, the author asked the clouds:

Ask the clouds to change colors

Why do you melt, thin, thick, fade?

The question was both earnest and surprising coming from the bottom of a teenager’s heart who had never experienced the bitter taste of life! The pairing words of opposites rushing one after another to melt, thin, and fade in the innocent and genuine question form a rhythmic rhythm of sound expressing doubt that increases in intensity. The question has become a plea for an open-ended answer to relieve contemplation.

Do not do evil, Should do good deeds, Self-purification of mind

Floating clouds keep drifting,

Silence is the answer who waits!

At first listening to the two verses describing the responsiveness of the cloud that keeps drifting and drifts, nature is constantly quiet, the listeners seem to feel the cruel brutality of the outside world, which is emotionless and merciless towards the person who is in pain. begging for answers! Especially the author is still keeping his honest mind at a young age, loving life innocently:

My heart is like the clear sky,

Love life is like a light pink cloud.

In the second passage, the sensitive and innocent teenager in the past, who had not yet understood the Dharma conditions and had a heart of faith in the Buddhadharma, today (2004) has become an old man with a source of joy living in the world every day in the verse of the sutras. .

After a long time of learning, explaining and practicing Buddha’s teachings, the old man happily lived the last years of his worldly journey. One day, the old man felt like he had just woken up from a long dream-filled night, and suddenly woke up to hear nature’s silent answer, a formless answer that is not revealed in sound. The old man was overjoyed when he clearly saw that the Dharma Realm of Parinirvana was not indifferent, not indifferent, and did not turn a blind eye to sentient beings who were questioning or imploring answers.

Beings are veiled Stupid If you cover up, you should have ears like deaf, eyes like blind. Ears can hear sounds, eyes can see forms, but ears can’t hear, eyes see but don’t reveal, don’t recognize bare sounds and colors are just appearances, the manifestation is only temporary.
