Master, I feel that I live a good life but my life is still miserable, while many wicked people, doing fake business, live so comfortably? I know you will say that I have malice, but actually I have not done any evil, I live according to the Buddha’s teachings.

There is a person who feels that he cultivates his heart and accumulates virtue, often does good things, and never harms anyone. However, life is always long and hard, not equal to friends or friends.

Once going to the temple to enjoy the scenery, too sad for his fate, he approached a monk and asked:

– Master, why do I live a good life, a good life, but my life continues to be miserable and I can’t see it getting better?

The Master casually asked:

– You say you are suffering, please tell me clearly suffering What is mine?

– Master, I feel that I live a good life, but life is still miserable, while many wicked people, doing fake business, live so comfortably? I know you will say that I have malice but actually I did not do evil, I live right Buddha’s teachings. The Master calmly replied:

– If I think I have malice, that there is something wrong in my heart, I will correct myself. And when you deny it, can you fix the world, fix the people around you, but fix the world?

Why was born? Why suffer?

The five poisons of Buddhism have “Greed, Hatred, Si, Man, and Doubt”. So how can I live comfortably and happily with those things!

Now I live a full life, have food to eat, clothes to wear, healthy body without disease. To survive you just need those things is enough. But I want more than I need. Everything works according to the laws of nature, full of cause and effect will bloom, but when you do merit, not with a mind of renunciation but looking for something later, then you want more than friends. That’s called Tham.

I see other people do evil and live happily and richly, I am not happy with that. It’s called the Courtyard.

I think that just living well will make you rich and happy, but I don’t understand that there must be enough Cause and Effect for that to happen. Not understanding about Cause and Effect, not understanding the truth, that’s called Si.

I think I live an honest life, and others live a bad life. I compare myself to them, thinking that they are inferior to me. It is the heart of Man (Pride)

If you think that you do good deeds and live forever, while other people do evil and are happy, that means you don’t believe in Cause and Effect. It’s called Nghi.

The five poisons of Buddhism have “Greed, Hatred, Si, Man, and Doubt”. So how do you? live happily and peacefully with those okay!
