Accordingly, the whole province of Ninh Binh currently has 357 pagodas, of which 260 temples have both abbots and concurrent abbots, the remaining 97 pagodas do not have abbots. Out of 357 pagodas, 26 are classified as national relic and 40 are ranked as provincial relic. Currently, Ninh Binh province has 386 monks and nuns, the hierarchy has 1 monk, 10 senior monks, 3 nuns and 31 nuns.

On this occasion, the President awarded the Second-class Labor Medal to the collective of the Provincial Buddhist Executive Committee and personally awarded the late Venerable Thich Thanh Dam and the Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac.

Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the province’s patriotic emulation movement in the 2017-2022 period.

The congress agreed to appoint the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ninh Binh province for the 2022-2027 term, consisting of 45 members, led by Venerable Thich Minh Quang as Head of the Executive Committee; Venerable Thich Tri Nhu, Venerable Thich Thanh Manh, Venerable Thich Thanh Dung, Nun Thich Dam An, Co-Deputy Deputy of the Executive Committee; Venerable Thich Minh Phuc, Chief Secretary of the Executive Board; Venerable Thich Thanh Dong, Chief of Office of the Executive Board.
