Ta Thiet base was built in 1973. Here, under the large trees surrounded by interlaced forest, were the working houses of senior commanders in the Regional Command at that time. . All are built in the style of semi-negative houses (half-submerged, half-floating), the top is covered with leaves of Trung Quan, the four sides around each building have a system of trenches to escape.

The volunteer group explored the unique architecture of Soc Lon pagoda (Soc Lon hamlet, Loc Khanh commune, Loc Ninh province) – the oldest Khmer temple in Binh Phuoc built in 1931 and inaugurated in 1937.
This is a Theravada Buddhist temple, so most of the statues worshiping are Shakyamuni statues. Every year, 10 major Khmer festivals in Binh Phuoc take place at the temple, attracting a large number of local Buddhists to worship and perform religious activities. During the resistance war, this place used to be a hiding place for revolutionary soldiers.
